1. Wash the mandarins thoroughly, cut them into thick pieces, remove the seeds, place them in a blender, and blend them. Whisk the sugar, juice, and sunflower oil together for a few minutes.
2. Add the mandarin pulp, the sifted flour, and finally the baking powder and vanilla. Grease and flour a 22 cm cake pan.
3. Preheat the oven to 180°C using the heating elements only (no fan). Pour the cake mixture into the pan and bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes.
