• 1 tsp Vanilla extract or flavouring, or 1 packet of powdered vanilla
For the topping
• 2 Egg yolks
• 20 g Icing sugar (powdered sugar)
• 250 g Cream Cheese
• 2 tsp Vanilla extract or flavouring
METHOD
1. In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar with an electric mixer. Add the butter, chocolate, and vanilla and mix well. Next, sift in the flour and baking powder and combine until smooth. Spread the mixture into a baking pan lined with parchment paper, measuring 23x33 cm, or into your oven tray.
For the topping:
1. In a bowl, lightly beat the icing sugar with the egg yolks and vanilla extract, then combine with the cream cheese until smooth. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the chocolate mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 25-30 minutes.
