1. In a saucepan, combine all the ingredients for the rice. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat, let it cool, remove the lid, and stir. Cut the fruits into thin strips.
2. Place a nori sheet on the bamboo mat with the shiny side down. Wet your fingers, take some rice, and spread it evenly over the sheet. Place the fruits you like in a line down the center of the nori.
3. Once all the rolls are done, start cutting them into your desired shape after first covering the rice with plastic wrap. The reason we do this is to prevent the rice from breaking when cutting (this step is not necessary when the nori sheet is on the outside).
