• 3-4 fresh or frozen medium-sized crabs (optional)
• 2 large onions, finely chopped
• 6 cloves of garlic
• 1 package (250g) unsalted butter, salted
• 2 lemons
• 1 baking bag
• Olive oil
• 3 tablespoons sweet paprika
• 3 tablespoons lemon pepper
• 2 tablespoons seafood seasoning
• 2 tablespoons garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/3 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 small coffee cup of white wine
• Brown sugar
• 2 bay leaves
For Serving
• A bucket
For Eating
• Gloves
METHOD
1. Boil the potatoes and the corn on the cob, and set them aside in a container.
2. In a large pan, melt the butter and add the onion and garlic. When they turn golden brown, add all the spices and stir them around briefly to combine.
3. After washing the seafood, put all the ingredients together into a large baking bag, tie it up, and shake the bag so the sauce coats everything well.
4. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 160°C. (If you prefer, you can sauté the seafood in the pan with a little olive oil and skip the oven. Just after cooking, place everything in the baking bag to let the flavors meld.)
5. When cooked, place the bag into a bucket (like a champagne cooler), open the bag, and serve the food directly in the middle of the table. Offer gloves to your guests and eat with your hands.
