Kourabiedes with Ouzo

INGREDIENTS

- • 250 gr fresh butter
- • 250 gr vegetable shortening
- • 1 cup powdered sugar
- • 1½ cups ouzo
- • 2 vanilla extracts
- • About 1½ kg all-purpose flour
- • 3 teaspoons baking powder
- • 2 cups blanched almonds, lightly toasted and coarsely ground
