1. Rinse the apples, remove the cores, and cut them into cubes. Rinse the oranges, remove any seeds, and slice them. In a saucepan, add the wine, cognac, the cut apples and oranges, the cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, and honey.
2. Place the saucepan on the heat, and once the mixture comes to a boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer gently for 10 minutes.
3. Serve our aromatic wine hot with the apple pieces and garnish with orange slices and a star anise.
