1. In a bowl, add the flour, salt, a little sunflower oil, and water. Knead until you have a soft dough. Wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes. Shape your rings (koulourakia) and set them aside.
2. In a saucepan, add water and let it come to a rolling boil. Put the rings in and boil until they soften.
3. If there is excess water, drain it, leaving just a little behind. Add plenty of carob syrup and boil until the sauce thickens and the pasta changes color. Serve with plenty of the syrup.
