About the festival
One of Famagusta district's most popular festivals returns on Friday, September 11, 2026, blending local gastronomy with music and entertainment. The Xylofagou International Potato Festival will take place at G.E. KYPEP Public Ltd Packaging Plant, once again honoring the product that has become synonymous with the region.
The musical highlights of the evening will feature Melina Aslanidou and Giorgos Papadopoulos. The two beloved artists will share the stage, presenting a program filled with well-known songs, powerful performances, and popular hits.
Naturally, the famous Xylofagou potato will be central to the celebration. Visitors will have the opportunity to sample various creative recipes featuring the region's renowned product, during an evening that brings together taste, tradition, and music.
