About the festival
The grand harvest festival returns to Koilani, one of the most picturesque wine villages in the Limassol district. The "Afamia" festival, an institution deeply connected to the region's viticultural tradition, celebrates its 44th anniversary this year, inviting everyone to a unique autumn excursion.
The 44th "Afamia" festival will take place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 11:00 AM until late afternoon. The village streets and square will come alive with the tastes, aromas, and sights that evoke the grape harvest and Koilani's rich winemaking heritage.
Free palouze will be offered during the festival, and visitors will have the chance to experience local traditions and enjoy the genuine hospitality of the residents. Further details on activities and the full program will be announced in the coming days.
The Koilani Residents' Association and the Koilani Community Council are organizing the event, inviting everyone, young and old, to explore the historic wine village and become part of a celebration that keeps the traditions of the vine and wine alive.
