About the festival
Following the success of its first edition, the Argaka Avocado Festival returns refreshed for a second year, setting a special autumn date in the Paphos district.
The 2nd Argaka Avocado Festival will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, transforming the beautiful village of Argaka into a meeting point for residents and visitors. At the heart of the event will, of course, be the avocado, a product widely cultivated in the fertile Polis Chrysochous area and a significant part of its modern agricultural identity.
Through the event, the public will have the opportunity to learn more about this beloved product, as well as the people behind its cultivation and production. Additionally, the festival aims to highlight the agricultural wealth of the region, support local producers, and introduce visitors to the beauty and hospitality of Argaka.
The second edition is expected to offer a wonderful festive experience for all ages, combining local gastronomy, tradition, and entertainment. The detailed program, activities, and festival hours will be announced in due course.
Until then, save the date and plan an autumn excursion to one of the region's most beautiful villages, where the avocado will once again be celebrated.
