About the festival
The beloved festival returns refreshed, featuring wine tastings, music, art, Cypriot flavors, and creative activities.
OENOFEST returns for its fourth consecutive year, introducing a new destination. From October 9-11, 2026, the popular wine festival moves to picturesque Omodos, one of Cyprus's most renowned and iconic wine villages.
For three days, the village's cobblestone streets, traditional neighborhoods, and welcoming venues will set the stage for a grand celebration dedicated to Cypriot wine and culture. The choice of Omodos is no coincidence, as the village's history and daily life are inextricably linked to vineyards, grape harvesting, and winemaking tradition.
Agro Cyprus, the organizer, is preparing a revamped OENOFEST that aims to blend tradition with contemporary creativity. Special emphasis is placed on youth participation and their experiential introduction to the customs, products, and arts of the Cypriot countryside.
The star of the three-day event will, of course, be Cypriot wine. Through tastings from local wineries, visitors will have the opportunity to sample different labels, discover indigenous and other grape varieties, and explore the richness of the Cypriot vineyard. Additionally, they can converse with winemakers and learn more about the journey from vine to glass.
The program will be enriched with live music performances, as well as pottery and painting workshops for all ages. Traditional activities will also feature prominently, including palouze making, grape pressing, and shadow puppet theatre shows, creating a program designed for the entire family.
Young visitors can participate in special creative workshops, learn about traditional elements through play, and enjoy themselves in a dedicated children's area. In this way, OENOFEST aims to bring the new generation closer to Cyprus's cultural and gastronomic heritage.
The Market Area will also be of special interest, featuring handmade creations, artworks, and selected local products. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet creators and producers, and to purchase items and products that reflect the contemporary creative side of the region.
Good food is essential at a wine festival. The Food Area will serve authentic Cypriot dishes and traditional sweets, offering perfect accompaniments to the wines and completing the visitor experience.
OENOFEST 2026 thus provides another reason for an autumn getaway to Omodos. Wine, music, art, gastronomy, and tradition converge in a three-day event that aims to showcase the Cypriot countryside through a modern and creative lens. More details on the full program are expected soon.
Information: October 9–11, 2026, Omodos, Limassol district, Friday 19:00–23:30, Saturday and Sunday 11:00–21:00.
