About the festival
The beloved festival returns with Andri Karantoni and Michalis Hadjimichael for a celebration dedicated to the region's signature product.
The aroma of fresh oranges, authentic Cypriot flavors, and live music converge at the Miliou Orange Festival. The event returns on Saturday, September 5, starting at 19:00, inviting the public to a unique evening of tradition and entertainment.
At the heart of the celebration will be the orange, a product directly linked to the agricultural production and character of the region. Through traditional flavors and products based on this beloved citrus, visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the village's connection to its cultivation.
The festival aims to highlight not only the orange but also the broader gastronomic and cultural richness of Miliou. Local delicacies, Cypriot flavors, and the warm hospitality of the residents will set the scene for a grand celebration for all ages.
Andri Karantoni and Michalis Hadjimichael will lead the musical program. The two artists will perform beloved songs and traditional Cypriot sounds, bringing rhythm and cheer to the evening. Music and dance will complete the experience, inviting the audience to become part of the celebration.
With the motto "Music – Dance – Flavors – Tradition," the event aims to promote the products and cultural heritage of the region, while offering a wonderful opportunity for an afternoon excursion to one of the picturesque villages of the Paphos district.
