About the festival
Mamonia, the picturesque village in the Paphos district near the Diarizos river valley, is preparing to celebrate the fruit that has become synonymous with its agricultural identity. The Orange Festival returns as part of the Mamonia Festival 2026, inviting residents, expatriates, and visitors to a grand summer gathering.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 22nd, at the Mamonia Events Area. The orange will be the star of the festival, a product that holds a special place in the community's history and daily life, as well as in the flavors passed down through generations.
The evening's music program is expected to keep spirits high until late. Nikos Romanos will take the stage, performing beloved folk hits, joined by Agni Herodotos and Herodotos. Song, dance, and an elevated mood will transform the event into an authentic celebration of the Cypriot countryside.
The Orange Festival also offers a wonderful opportunity to discover Mamonia, a small and quiet village of particular geological interest. Its location near the Diarizos valley, its natural landscape, and authentic character create ideal conditions for a different summer excursion in the Paphos district.
Tickets for adults are €20 and include food and one drink, while the price for children is set at €15. With music, traditional flavors, and the warm hospitality of the residents, the festival promises a beautiful evening for the whole family.
