About the festival
The festival returns for its 11th year to the village square on Sunday, October 25, with this year's event dedicated to the memory of Daniel Anastasi.
"Kopiasté": an invitation we hear in our villages, meaning there's always room for one more in the company. With this spirit, Farmakas welcomes residents, expatriates, and visitors to the 11th "Kopiasté" Festival on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00, in the village square.
The festival is organized by the Farmakas Community Council, in collaboration with the community's organized groups, providing a common meeting point for those who live in the village, those who return, and those visiting for the first time.
With Cypriot tradition and hospitality at its core, the event offers the opportunity to spend an autumn Sunday in the square, meet friends, and get to know the people of the community. It is these encounters that give village celebrations their special character: the conversations, the welcomes, and the time we share.
The eleventh edition continues this tradition, with the people of Farmakas collaborating for their celebration. Additionally, this year's event is dedicated to the memory of Daniel Anastasi, giving the gathering a special character of remembrance and honor.
For those looking for an excuse to leave the city for a while, "Kopiasté" offers the destination. A stroll through Farmakas, a stop in the square, and a Sunday with family or friends, within the welcoming atmosphere of the village.
