About the festival
A vibrant Sunday celebration featuring live music, street food, games, and activities for the whole family.
Kathikas Square will be filled with colours, music, and flavours on Sunday, September 6, as it hosts the Kathikas Festival. From 16:00 to 21:00, this beautiful village in the Paphos district invites both young and old to a relaxed afternoon with numerous options for food, shopping, and entertainment.
Over 50 stalls will be set up in the square, showcasing local creators, producers, and professionals. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover their work, explore various products, and support the local community through their purchases.
Food will be a significant part of the event. Traditional treats like loukoumades, popcorn, cotton candy, and corn will meet more modern street food options such as pizza, waffle wands, and pulled pork, creating a menu with something for every taste.
The festival is also designed with families and children in mind. The area will feature an inflatable castle, face painting, and various games, ensuring that young visitors enjoy an afternoon full of action and fun.
The program will also include a mosaic workshop, tombola, and live music, which will accompany the event until the evening. The festive atmosphere and the charming setting of the square will create the perfect backdrop for a unique Sunday outing in the village.
The aim of the Kathikas Festival is to bring residents and visitors together, highlight the people who create and operate in the area, and offer wonderful moments for the entire family.
