About the festival

This small mountainous village in Pitsilia, built at an altitude of 1,275 meters on the southern slopes of Madari, is the second highest village in Cyprus and a destination that combines unique natural beauty, tradition, and authentic hospitality. And if you're looking for the perfect reason to visit, the Dough Festival is it.
The Dough Festival takes place in the picturesque village of Chandria in the Limassol district. It is a popular celebration of Cypriot tradition where local women knead and bake traditional delicacies in front of visitors, accompanied by traditional music and dances.
During the festival, visitors have the opportunity to watch closely and taste freshly prepared treats, such as: Traditional Cypriot pies, lasagna and ravioli, village breads, loukoumades, and daktyla.
