About the festival
The beautiful village in the Limassol district invites us to a Sunday celebration dedicated to the beloved harvest delicacy.
Agios Amvrosios is once again preparing to welcome residents and visitors to one of September's sweetest festivals. The Palouzes Festival will take place on Sunday, September 6, in the courtyard of Agios Efrem, offering another wonderful reason to explore the Limassol district.
The star of the day will, of course, be palouzes, the traditional Cypriot dessert made from grape must and inextricably linked to the grape harvest season. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste freshly made palouzes for free and get to know a flavour passed down through generations.
The festival program will feature traditional music and Cypriot dances, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Residents and visitors will gather around the local flavours and customs, in an event that keeps the village's connection to tradition alive.
The event is also a great opportunity for all ages to visit Agios Amvrosios, explore the village, and spend a different kind of Sunday, full of music, dance, and the aroma of fresh grape must.
Information: Sunday, September 6, 2026, Agios Efrem courtyard, Agios Amvrosios, Limassol district. The start time has not been announced.
