About the festival
Agios Ioannis Pitsilias, the birthplace of Chef Andreas Mavrommatis, who passed away last February, invites you to the 7th Gastronomy Festival, a grand celebration dedicated to the flavors, traditions, and people of the region.
This year's event is dedicated to the acclaimed Chef Andreas Mavrommatis, who significantly contributed to promoting Cypriot gastronomy abroad.
The village's central square will be filled with aromas, music, and images of Cypriot tradition. Residents and visitors will have the opportunity to gather, discover local flavors, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of this beautiful Pitsilia village.
The event will culminate with a live music and dance program featuring Vasiliki Hadjiadamou, Sotiris Pettas, and the 'Alexandra' Traditional Dance Workshop. The festival is organized by the Association of Expatriates and Friends and the Community Council of Agios Ioannis.
