About the festival
November begins with a stroll through Platanistasa and a glass of wine in its square. On Sunday, November 1, 2026, the village hosts the 4th Wine Festival, inviting us to spend a day with music, dance, and Cypriot hospitality.
With the slogan "Wine from the jar, like old times!", the Platanistasa Community Council and co-organizers will gather at Kyprianou Kouppa and Frixou Kyriakidi Square, from 10:00 to 17:00, for a celebration dedicated to wine and local traditions.
At the entrance, a commemorative festival glass will be available for €2, allowing visitors to taste and enjoy wine without additional charge and without quantity restrictions, according to the organizers.
Music and dance will accompany the gathering, providing an opportunity for a Sunday outing with family or friends. A day in the square, with wine bringing residents and visitors together, just like the village festivals we remember.
