About the festival
The Sheep and Goat Milk Festival returns for its fourth year to Drouseia, transforming the beautiful Paphos district village into a meeting point for those who love Cypriot tradition, local flavors, and live music. This year's event will take place on August 13 and 14, at the Drouseia Primary School field, with a two-day program full of song, dance, food, and entertainment.
At the heart of the festival will be sheep and goat milk and the products made from it, highlighting an important sector of local livestock farming and gastronomic tradition. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about and taste various dairy products, including fresh halloumi and other traditional flavors, while plenty of food will be offered on site.
The musical part of the event includes two major concert nights. On the first day, Nikomanolis Nikitaris and Petros Imvrios will take the stage, presenting a program with folk and traditional sounds. On the second night, Giorgos Margaritis and Kelly Kelekidou will take over, two beloved artists expected to captivate the audience with popular hits and authentic folk cheer.
With music, dance, and flavors directly connected to the daily life and history of the Cypriot countryside, the 4th Sheep and Goat Milk Festival is a wonderful reason for a summer excursion to Drouseia. Residents and visitors will gather again for a grand celebration that supports local production and keeps the flavors and traditions of the place alive.
