The 4th Pourekki Festival arrives with sweet and savory creations, live demonstrations, activities, and a grand musical finale.
Palaiometocho is adorned for the festivities and prepares to host the Pourekki Festival for the fourth year, a grand celebration dedicated to one of the most distinctive and beloved delicacies of Cypriot cuisine. The event will take place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, inviting young and old to a day full of flavors, music, and tradition.
The star of the festival will, of course, be the traditional pourekki in various versions. Visitors will be able to taste freshly baked sweet and savory pourekki, prepared with familiar fillings and ingredients associated with Cypriot culinary tradition.
A significant part of the event will be the live preparation demonstrations. The public will have the opportunity to closely observe the entire process, from rolling out the dough and adding the filling to folding and baking or frying. Simultaneously, they will learn the small secrets of a recipe passed down from generation to generation and consistently beloved.
The program will include traditional music and dances, highlighting even more aspects of the region's cultural heritage. Stalls with local products and handmade creations will also operate on site, giving visitors the opportunity to meet producers and creators and support their work.

The grand finale of the festival will take place on stage, featuring ONE along with Konstantinos Christoforou. The beloved band and the popular performer will present well-known hits that marked their career, in a concert full of nostalgia, rhythm, and dance.
